DATO Services was appointed by Momentum Build (NW) to carry out electrical works during the demolition of a former Harvey Nichols retail unit within Liverpool ONE. The scope included making the existing installation safe, providing site temporary supplies for demolition activities, and ensuring the unit was returned to a bare shell — ready for the incoming retailer’s new fit-out.

Challenges

The project began with just five days’ notice, requiring rapid mobilisation and coordination with multiple contractors on site. As demolition progressed, additional works were requested to accommodate changing requirements and maintain site safety and operational efficiency.

The Solution

DATO Services successfully completed the project within two weeks, meeting all safety requirements and delivering a safe, blank canvas for the next phase of retail redevelopment. Our responsive approach ensured that works continued without delay despite the short notice period and dynamic site conditions.
